She became a
British Vogue
fashion journalist,

off her clothes in a
friend's apartment,
but later, she held a
full-scale fashion
show with celebrity
fans Kate Moss and
Texas singer
Sharleen Spiton

row.

Luella received the
Elle "Young
Designer Award" for
2000.

Luella's Spring
2002 collection
shown in New York
was almost
colorless, quirky,
humorous, and fun.
Then suddenly
everything
changed, and she
began offering
colorful designs in
geometric prints.
Luella's
candy-striped
blazers were a hit
and faded denim
jeans which were
distressed to kill.
And as most
designers, she
designed a line of
fine leather
handbags, wallets,
and accessories to
include the Gisele,
Mini Gisele, etc.
