(1904), outfitted
South Pole explorers
(1911 & 1914), and
designed garments
for aviators.   His
trademark Trench
Coat lining design
(Burberry Check)
began to be applied
to other applications
in 1967, hence, we
now have

scarves, umbrellas,
luggage, etc.
